I established my architecture practice in 1972 after graduating from the Iberoamerican University in Mexico City, where I also sat diverse courses on modern urbanism and architecture theory and finally taught projects and design as a tenured faculty member from 1973 to 1980.

Throughout the years I have established numerous alliances with other construction companies which work under my supervision. Together we have developed different projects like hotels, public office buildings and multi service buildings and community projects.

I have all necessary authorizations, permits and licenses to develop any kind of construction project in Mexico and hold a post-graduate management degree from the IPADE Business School.

Between 1986 - 1997 I was member of the Cancun City Council and worked closely with the Urban Development Committee (a non-governmental organization) which had an outstanding influence on the policies applied at that time by the City Council.

I have significant experience as project promoter and turn-key manager for time share developments, multi sport facilities and residential developments.

From 1970 to 1974 I managed both my private architectural practice and a construction company (Rocamar SA de CV) which developed important piping projects to provide Mexico City with potable water.

Prior to becoming a certified architect I worked as apprentice with different firms in Mexico City, specifically at the office of architect Francisco Artigas.

In recent years I have also participated as visiting lecturer in extended University programs and courses of art at the La Salle University in Cancun Mexico and Yucatan University.
